Captain Marvel Advance Tickets Are Now on Sale

In case you missed the news, tickets for Captain Marvel have been released, including special “fan event” screenings.

As soon as I got the email from Alamo Drafthouse, you bet I scrambled to purchase tickets for their Captain Marvel “exclusive fan event screening” on March 7th (the movie’s big release date is Friday, March 8th).

It looks like special Thursday night fan events will be taking place at many theaters. You can check out the participating AMC Theaters countrywide here.

I love seeing superhero movies with people who are equally excited to be there, and we get some kind of commemorative coin?! So, win-win.

Jet on over to your local Alamo Drafthouse for tickets if you’re partial to the Drafthouse ambiance, which many of us are. What follows is an actual conversation I had with a friend the other day as we tried to figure out an Alamo showing we could both get to:

Me: I guess, maybe, we can go to another theater if none of these times work for us.

Her: Can we?

You can also find Captain Marvel tickets available via Atom Tickets, which covers 21,000 screens in the U.S. According to the helpful press blast Atom Tickets just sent out about Captain Marvel, you can reserve seats and pre-order concessions when you book with them, which is a nice touch.

Here are some other sites to snap up tickets if Alamo or Atom don’t work in your neck of the woods: AMC Theaters, Fandango, Regal Cinemas, Cinemark.

It would be fantastic if Captain Marvel hit the ground running with strong advance ticket sales, so you know what to do. Happy Carol-ing!

(I hope Marvel is planning to bring in a special guest for the Alamo New York fan event screening. Sure it’d be cool to see Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, or Jude Law. But really? Fingers crossed for Goose the Cat.)
