A group of 12 comfort dogs from Chicago were flown out to Florida to help provide comfort to survivors of the horrific events that took place in Orlando on Sunday. NASA has recently released a series of recruitment posters seeking astronauts to charge bravely into the huge, gaping, bleak, darkness of space. It seems they drew inspiration from WWI and WWII recruitment posters, judging by both the seemingly hand-painted texture and the callbacks to actual recruitment posters; the “We Need You” poster, for example.
