NICOLA Sturgeon has been urged to apologise for her “pathetic” attack on the Scottish Daily Express’s reporting of a row over the Union flag disappearing from public buildings on royal celebrations. The independent press watchdog yesterday rejected a complaint from the Scottish Government and ruled this newspaper was entitled to describe the new rules on flag flying as a “snub” to the Royal Family.
