HAIRCUT 100’s superb debut album Pelican West, way back in 1982, was such a cheerful affair that the band’s lead singer and songwriter Nick Heyward worked the opening verse of Lizette Reese’s 1909 hymn Glad That I Live Am I, into one of the tracks.
