AS founding Bay City Roller Alan Longmuir lay dying, former bandmate Les McKeown kept a vigil by his hospital bedside for three days. “I was there, my wife, Alan’s brother Derek who was also a Roller and Alan’s wife Eileen,” recalls Les, the 1970s tartan teen sensations’ lead singer.
